Just days after the Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition was leaked onto the internet by Wired.com, Activision has announced that the edition will cost $99.99 instead of the normal $79.99.

The price jump seems to go hand in hand with the year of COD: Elite being included with the edition – which would normally cost $50 itself. If you happened to miss the contents of the Hardened Edition, here is the complete list:

– A year of Elite
– Elite perks: in-game emblem, camouflage, clan XP boost, player card, and more
– Juggernaut outfit for your Xbox Live avatar
– Fancy steel case
– 100+ pages of sketches and other military source material
– Unique disc art! Not that you’ll see it much
